In 2001 when purchased the mileage was 87111 and presently the odometer is just under 118000. The 30k miles put on over the past 13 years was a short commute to work and around town. Approx 80% of the maintenance was done at a Jaguar dealership when or as Mechanically running good. We are selling the car simply due to lack of space to continue garaging & the short seasons here to drive (snow and ice). This car is a pleasure to drive & a great ride. Sleek, powerful, handles well. The following is in the interest of disclosing all that we know that needs or attention and or repair: Due to not being garaged over the years paint has areas oxidation, heaviest on rear trunk and drivers side top. Does need new paint. (Since moving to the California Eastern Sierra Nevada 3 years ago we have garaged the car) Electrically no problems that we are aware of. The air conditioner is from the old days of using Freon and will need to be either replenished or charged. Presently its not much more then a fan due to this. The lower front end spoiler is in need of repair or replacement (Front Apron?). Front drivers seat & middle box (seems to be common ailment for this year, model), need recovering. We have seen inexpensive quality seatcover kits for sale on eBay for this year/model if you want more then just a slipcover seat cover. The back seats are in good shape, no rips, tears, stains etc. Rubber seals around the front windshield/driver/ front passenger windows could use replacing, no leaks just aged. The door key (same key for ignition) the electronic beep beep which is molded on to the top of the key is not working. The doors have to be manually locked and unlocked from the outside. The interior locking still works from either the door and or a button on the panel.
