Vehicle Detail

Hi I have for sale a 1992/1997 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Shortbox. I have been building this truck over the past year and a half. The truck started life just as a 1992 F-350. I was looking for a reliable but comfortable truck. I personally love the 1992-1997 body style, I always also loved the look of a Crew Cab Shortbox, the power and reliability of the infamous 7.3, and the comfort of the King Ranch, so I decided that is what I was going to do. I found an excellent 1997 F-250 candidate and began building what I think is the perfect F-350. It would take way too long to explain every aspect of the build, so I will list the important points, From the 1992 I used pretty much the shell , the Dana 60 front axle, the 10.5 rear axle (both axles 4:10 gear ratio), the suspension and brakes, and interior, from the 1997 I used the 7.3 turbo diesel engine, the automatic trans, all wiring ( absolutely nothing cut the whole harness was laid in just like original.) , computer, gauges, fuel system. The Diesel had 260,000 miles when I got it. It ran great but it was not the easiest motor I had ever taken out, so I figured why not freshen it up since I had it out. It looked good when I got it apart. I have a friend that is a diesel fanatic , I had him put new rings and bearings and gaskets. I also checked the trans and did a flush with new screen and filter. the Turbo had a little wear on the wheel, since the rebuild kits were fairly inexpensive I had him rebuild the turbo and I bought a new Wicked wheel. I read up a lot on the diesel forums about potential issues and tried to address them as i wanted the truck to be reliable. I had the truck painted last summer, I will say that I wasn't very happy with how the Paint and Body turned out. Don't get me wrong it looks nice but it's not perfect, still some dings and dangs. I had the work done locally , I didn't have the money for one of the good shops , you get what you pay for ! So keep that in mind the paint and body is not Show quality. From here it would probably be easier to just list all the new , reman , and custom parts. I will be more than happy to answer any build questions you might have.7.3 rings, bearings, and gasketsTurbo was rebuilt and has new Wicked WheelTrans flushed new screen and filterNew EBPV sensor and tube was cleanedNew Ford Camshaft sensorNew Glow PlugsNew heating element ( fuel bowl)New Lift Pump ( fuel pump)New Vacuum PumpReman HPOP ( high pressure oil pump)Reman IDM ( injector drive module)New Dayco serpentine beltNew Accel Cool Blue Filter4" mini leaf packs for leveling new U boltsDrop pitman arm ( was going to do 6" lift originally, truck is ready for 6")New Extended front brake linesNew HeadlightsNew Tail LightsBillet GrilleNew windshieldKing Ranch seats ( both are power and heated)custom door panels headliner Billet AC/Heat knobsBillet window switchesGrant Steering wheelNew Heater Core20" MB wheels with Cooper 305/55/20 tires ( good tread)I don't want to part with her but I have run into financial difficulties and have to sell, there are a few problems that I have not had time or money to address, the windshield wiper motor has gone bad (probably from non use lol, we rarely get rain), the batteries are ok but I have never changed them, the tailgate was stolen ( I do have a white tailgate but it is not painted), the driver door cable seems to have stretched ( hard to open from inside), I will try and source a cable before the end of sale. I believe that covers everything, please feel free to ask if you have any questions. Thanks and have a great day. I will add more pics this weekend.
