Offered today is a rare Triumph Trident t150 with the optional original American beauty kit (original paint )in survivor status it has its good and bad points I am selling this bike as a survivor light project ,she is a strong runner for those local jaunts, long rides .this bike is numbers matching and original ,(its only original once )it has new tires fork gators ,battery ,chain and rear sprocket /brake / shoes and has been fully serviced. you can ride her as is and slowly make her correct, she needs the correct American style exhaust (fairly reasonable priced) the correct amal carbs (it does come with the amal style air box).the tach just started jumping around horn switch will need replacing and some very light smoke at idle ,the compression is great ,cylinder leak down test shows less than 6 to 8 percent , and does not smoke during acceleration, this just started (this means to me valve guide seals ? possibly some one has mentioned oil puddling on top of head ) she does run and shift great down the road.im trying to lay out a true description of the vehicle so you have no surprises !!!! she is a beauty and I hope some one see's it massive potential !!!! These bikes are hard to find and rarely available. its my opinion that the 69/70 and 75 t160 are the best tridents and the only bikes that are worth repairing / restoring . This condition is highly sought after great for the beginner and experienced collectors. A must have for anyone's collection.
