I bought this GT from the original owner. I have the window sticker, owners manual, and other literature on it along with photos of the GT when it was new if you want to restore it to the factory look. It is a GT Turbo one of 3417 hatch backs made in 84, so it is a rare car. 83 and 84 were the only 2 years for the Turbo GT the SVO took over in 84. It was a daily driver until I aquired it and it has been driven on and off the past 4 years. I have made trips to Illinios, Tampa, and Gatlinburg in it with no problems, it is mechanically sound. It is completly original except for the rims which are off a 93 GT (16 in.Pony Wheels) It has power windows and door locks. The A/C needs a hose replaced but I charged it when I first bought it and it worked for 3 days blowing cold until the charge leaked down. The cruise control needs a new cable and it will work (it's broken near the throttle body. If you are looking for a rare mustang to restore this is a great candidate. It was originally charcoal grey metallic, and this pictures I have show the color and the GT sticker placement (it currently has none on it) It gets around 23 to 25 MPG around town and running 80 on the intestate it gets 25 to 27 MPG. This is a real GT with the thick front anti-sway bar and the 3:45 Traction-Loc differential. It is a 5 speed (Tremec) and still has the original catlytic converter on it but the muffler and tail pipe have been replaced in the past hence no dual chrome tips. If you buy this I can put you in contact with the original owner if he does not mind. He has continually comes up with pictures and literature since I have had it. If I did not need the room I would not be selling this, but I have other projects to complete and I hate it that this car is sitting most of the time.
