Vehicle Detail

Stunning dark blue with red leather roadster. My late Father bought this and restored it in the early to late 80's, It has been in his heated garage since then. He used it in parades and leisurely drives until he could no longer drive it. I am the only other person who drove this in the last 30 years. The engine is strong, transmission shifts as it should. The paint is good for the most part with a couple small bubbles which have been there as long as I can remember, and some cracks here and there. Paint appears to be enamel! I am not a Packard aficionado, but I believe all parts to be period correct. Electrical done to accommodate 8 volt battery. Original engine rebuilt at time of restoration. The Gentleman who rebuilt it has done all service work on car since rebuild and is still in business. Chrome mostly in good shape. Convertible top bows and mechanism original and show wear typical of 80 year old car. Top decent with some fraying, but looks good when up! Convertible boot missing or eliminated when restored? According to a paint guy the car appears to have had some body filler instead of metal work on some portions. I cant tell!! I have chrome ring that is missing on spare tire mounted on back of car. This car is not perfect but it has been loved and driven! It is still a head turner and how many of these are around?? Heated storage may be an issue in a year or so, so I am seeing what the old girl will bring. I can try and answer questions, but as I said I am not an expert, just a lover of the car!
