65 Chevy Truck. Its had a recent full build from the frame up. First we started with 65 body that came out of the Dallas. It was an original Hay/Farm truck. We shopped around to find a good body with a rust free cab to build that had great Patina. Second we had a 1968 donor truck with a motor/tranny and factory power steering. We completely stripped the 68 down to the frame, cleaned and repainted black. We added a bolt in C Notch kit, 2 inch lowering blocks, adjustable CPP panhard bar, new shocks. We added 2 2600 Air bags, with correct hardware and mounting kit. Everything was bolt/weld on so nothing was hacked. Its bagged in the rear with a new Viair pump/8 gallon tank and all new wiring and fittings. Works great. Then the 65 body was bolted to the 68 frame. Also added was full brand new interior. I have over $1400 in to new custom made interior to include a completely rebuilt seat, with new foam and custom one off seat upholstery . The rockers were rust free but had dents form years of use. We cut out, welded in new rockers and painted to match. The floors were rust free other then minor surface rust, they were sealed with POR15 and painted black, Two layers of sound deadner were added along with new padding and new custom made carpet all done by my interior guy. The motor is a 307, backed by a recently serviced TH400 Tranny, which was stock for the 68 running gear. The motor has been bored .40 over, I just had the heads rebuilt and a new RV cam along with a new timing chain. The 2bbl carb was completely disassembled, rebuilt and tuned by the Carb and Tune UP shop in Sherwood Oregon. It has all new points, wires, plugs, cap, rotor etc. Again all professionally tuned at the above shop. All new flowmaster exhaust that dumps out the bed sides. Sounds awesome. It has all new wiring through out the truck. Some of the new wiring harnesses were ordered from Car and Truck shop out of Cali. It has a new starter, ignition switch (Door Locks match the ignition) alternator upgrade, battery, all new cables etc. The headlights have been upgraded with a relay kit to allow for H4 or upgrade to HID. I still run brand new Silverstars to keep the stock look. We built a custom full floating wood bed that opens up and allows full access to all the air bags and rear suspension for quick and easy repairs if needed. I added a old school ammo case for a tool box. It has new windshield and rubber, hidden direct amp hook to MP3/Phone stereo with new pioneer speakers in the kick panels. There is much more. We rebuilt the heater controls, added a new heater core, all the lights, heater, defroster, dash lights, lighter, wipers etc works. It has brand new tires on baby moons. There is much more I am forgetting. I built this truck to be a safe reliable daily driver to haul my 5 year old in. Its a great driver. If you looking for a perfect body this is not it. There is some rust in the fenders, doors and hood. I purposely built it that way. I wanted to keep it all original. I had some old school pin stripping put on places to make it Kustom and add some traditional flavor. The truck is titled as a 1968 as we used the frame to register. It has old blue plates with special interest tags that are included.
