I have too many projects and this one has to go. My loss your gain. These are getting harder to come by and the price goes up as time goes by because of that. I am selling a 1950 Chevrolet 5700 COE that has an inline 6 cylinder, 4 speed transmission, that as far as I know is the original. The speedometer shows a reading of 20,376 miles which could be correct because I was told the truck was used on a farm only for years. The front tires are 900/20 and the back tires are 825/20 and they show 10 ply on them. They hold air but are weather checked. I measured the distance from the edge of the front bumper to the end of the frame and got 22 ft. give or take. From the back of the cab to the end of the frame is 15ft. + or -. The wheelbase is 14ft. or 168 inches + or -. I do have the rear window for the truck. If someone was looking to build a 4 door cab pickup, car hauler or whatever the frame would work for you in length. The truck's running gear looks original and complete to me. This project will take a lot of time and need a lot of work no matter what you want to do with it, restore or build something new. If you are interested in buying the truck but don't have a way to haul it to where ever you want to take it, I know of a company that has a rollback to haul it at your cost.
