For auction is a 1926 Chevy 1 Ton Truck. The engine casting is 345505 dated A 12 26 with serial number T220865_ (cannot make out the last number). Has the 124 inch wheel base so believe it to be the series R chassis. Drive train looks to be complete. Wooden wheels look solid. Sheet metal and framing would need to be completely redone. Engine and transmission look to be complete with the exception of the carburetor and distributor cap. No radiator, hoses or wiring. Have not been able to get a proper crank on the engine to determine if it is locked but believe it is. As you can see in the pictures this was a "C Cab" with part of the sheet metal and framing remaining. Mileage is unknown. Stating the obvious but this would require a complete restore. No title.So a good start to a nice project. These trucks are a bit hard to find.Please see the pictures and ask questions as needed. I am not an expert on these old trucks but will answer what I can. Since this is a non running truck for restore the sale is as with no warranty.I can work with the buyer on managing the local pickup.
