Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is this absolutely stunning 1967 Mustang. This car has gone through a complete two year professional restoration with no expense spared by the previous owner. The car was completely dismantled down to the bare shell, all body parts and glass removed. The interior was completely removed as well so that a clean restore could begin. Only minor body work and rust repair was needed as the car retains it's original Ford sheet metal and floors. Everything is new or rebuilt so the car is a fabulous driver, safe and reliable. The previous owner spent over $30K during this restoration (all photo documented and receipts come with the car). Not to mention the thousands of dollars and labor I have also invested.Barrett-Jackson quality paint work finished in the original rare and beautiful Nightmist blue. The paint looks like it's a foot deep and is smooth as silk. All the body gaps are right on with this laser straight Mustang. The interior is all new from carpet to headliner with the two tone blue adding elegance to this great color combination. Even the seats were completely rebuilt. The Mustang left the factory as a "C code" 289 V8 and C4 Three speed automatic transmission. Rare also is that this Mustang is a factory air conditioned car (not presently installed). All a/c parts are new or rebuilt installed under the dash and the original compressor, hoses, pulley and brackets come with the vehicle. Only a condenser/drier are needed to complete the system. When I purchased the car it had a resto-mod look with polished Torque Thrust wheels and BFG white lettered tires. Although very nice, myself being more of a purist I decided to go with a stock GT optioned look. The car already had a turn signal hood and dual exhaust rear valence, so I added a new GT Fog lamp kit, stainless quad exhaust tips, Styled Steel wheels and up sized tires (215/75 14's) with the correct width whitewalls. I also added a 1" front sway bar and some up graded bushings to the front end. New leaf springs and KYB gas shocks complete the suspension. Brakes and wheel bearings are all new as well. Even though she is an amazing show car, I drive this Mustang. The original matching numbers drivetrain work as they should with plenty of power, tight shifts and no rear end noises. The car still has it's original 3:25 rear gears. The 289 engine was rebuilt many years ago so when a head gasket started to leak I had a " mini rebuild " performed. My mechanic removed the engine from the car and checked everything from main bearings and crankshaft to the valves. He said it was so clean he didn't think 10,000 miles were on it. A new engine gasket set was installed along with a new timing chain, high output water pump, new oil pump. I had previously installed a new Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb so I had him install a new electronic distributor and 9.5mm ignition wires as well. He painted and detailed the motor while it was out of the car so it looks like new. Of course the entire cooling system was checked and flushed so no overheating problems exist and the car has a great heater to boot. The car has manual steering which is very precise with no play in the steering box and the new manual drum brakes stop the car nice and straight. The chassis is nice and clean painted satin black with no undercoating to hide any sins. There is ZERO rust on this car although the rear end and driveshaft could use a little detailing to match up with rest of this high quality steed. I know I am probably forgetting some things so please ask questions. I really hate to sell this Mustang but financial responsibilities are now taking a preference. I truly want this Mustang to go to a good home as it deserves. Being a Mustang buff and owning several in the past, I have tried to be as accurate and honest in my description of this vehicle. Please check my feedbacks... I always try to be a good and fair Ebayer, I would appreciate it if all the bidders do the same: Please do not bid on this car if you cannot complete the transaction. " O " bidders please contact me before placing a bid. Please do not ask my reserve as this is an auction, bid what you can and good luck to all. Serious inquires, Call me at (732) 941-4004 I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time as the car is advertised locally as well. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder, I will assist as much as I can in transporting. Seeing the car in person is highly recommended. Please contact me for an appointment.
