1982 Toyota Diesel pickup. 2.2L normally aspirated 4-cyl diesel. This is a very nice one. No rust-through. At 148k it is also the lowest mileage one I've seen. SR5 long bed. There are dings and chips that you would expect of a work truck this age. Old 80's-style bed liner is installed. Dead reliable, we use this truck every day. This isn't a show truck but a really clean driver or an awesome resto candidate. Tires are in great shape and oil change/fuel filters were just done. She gets great gas mileage and goes wonderful in the snow. I'll include a pic of it pulling our plow out of a pile of snow:-) It has a block heater but even on the coldest day of the year I never needed to use it. Top comfortable cruising speed is 65mph. She'll go faster but it sounds like it is wringing her neck to do it. If you need a truck to drive around at 90 an early 80's diesel truck is probably not for you. No power steering but you'll never notice in a truck this light. No A/C. Nice warm heat in winter. We are a shop and this has been our all-purpose shop truck. Our upholstery hottie had some fun while she was doing the seat for us. Awesome work and materials that normally wouldn't have gone into a work truck. It's sporting a side dump exhaust, that always gets a chuckle when guys notice it.
