Vehicle Detail
I bought this 1972 Honda CB750k about a year ago and completely rebuilt it. I have not had time, due to a new job, to get my motorcycle license, so I have not riden it since it was completed. It does have a clear Ohio title in my name. There is a mileage discrepancy. The none working odometer showed 16458 miles which I was told to be correct by the previous owner but it has since gotten a new one that shows 0. Most parts are new, pretty much nothing has been untouched, including an all new electrical system. All new braided stainless oil, fuel and brake lines. New brake pads up front and shoes in the rear. Tires have plenty of tread left but I am not certain of the age. The frame was detabbed and powder coated along with everything black on the bike except the wheels. I did leave the center stand for convenience. It also still has the side stand. The bike starts and runs fine and I have shifted it through all the gears, with it on the center stand, without any problems. I have not taken the time to get a good tune on the carbs. It has Lossa Engineering rear sets attached to Cognito Moto rear set brackets. LED turn signals built into the headlight up front and custom LED tail/stop/turn signals in the rear between the seat cowl and the frame. Both sprockets are brand new as is the drive chain. The front end has:Progressive front springsPowder coated lower forksCognito Moto triple top powder coated and a powder coated lower All Balls tapered steering bearingsRebuilt and powder coated brake caliperNew shorty brake master cyclinder and clutch leverStainless braided brake lineCycle X drilled rotorCustom kill switch and starter button7 inch British style headlight bucket (powder coated) with a new headlight with built in led turn signals New Mini gauges from Dime City CyclesPainted front wheel with new all balls bearings (rear wheel also has new all balls bearings)New clip ons Engine rebuild:Head rebuilt by M$M Heads in Delaware, Ohio with new guides and sealsCylinders bored 2nd over by M&M Heads in Delaware, Ohio Pistons are new Cycle X 2nd Over pistonsNew Cycle X Primary Chains and tensionerNew cam chains and tensioner All new gaskets, rings, seals from Cycle xJoker Machine side coversPolished cam coverCarbs were rebuilt by Cycle XNew Mac 4 into 1 header wrapped in DEI exhaust wrap with a Lossa Engineering reverse cone mufflerSuspensionNew Progressive front springsNew Progressive rear shocksHondaman rebuilt swingarmBody workLegendary motorcycles Manx Lyta aluminum gas tank Bedlam Motorwerks aluminum custom cafe seatAnything Goes custom pill style oil tank powder coated blackI may be forgetting some things because I did so much with it.
