I will do the best to describe this 78 ford with only 20,000 actual documented miles on the title that is like new inside and out. This is a rare opportunity to find such a clean truck with very low miles. It was stored in my barn so it could be your barn find as I need the room for a 69 camaro I bought to replace it. This truck runs and drives great in excellent condition with virtually no rust makes it almost flawless. Heres your opportunity to purchase the lowest milage 78 ford that I know of and turn heads every where. The truck was even featured in four wheel drive magazine which makes me crazy to sell it with NO RESERVE but wife says it needs to go. Heres the f150 part of the story......the body is a 150 with original 460 motor, c6 tranny and four wheel drive, which all run and shift as they should. The body of this truck is near perfect inside and out with very little rust any where......the frame is spotless and the paint is excellent. Interior is as clean as you will find for almost any truck, but especially a 78. The nose of the truck is hinged so the fenders and hood both open together or you can open just the hood. Ignition and wiring have been updated to msd coil and module. Truck runs and sounds great........you will turn heads Heres the f250 part of the story......the dana 60s were taken from a 78 250 4x4 that had less than 40,000 miles on them (I bought the truck and removed them myself) and were gone thre before putting them on the truck. The coil spring suspension was changed to leaf springs on the front and rear of the truck and the steering had to be changed to a cross over steering which was done by cat customs and lifts (those guys do it right) They added a body lift and suspension lift to the truck as well with all new shocks. The tires on the truck are 38.50x14.50R20s and are like new, less than 200 miles on them. This truck is built right and will drive straight and easily down the road. This isn't a cobbled up truck, it is done right with alol of money wrapped up in the project, but my loss will be your gain. I will try to add some pics. This truck is better than a frame off restoration because it's never needed one. If you don't want the lift it comes off very easily if you will have a stock 78 ford, but it drives easily and effortlessly down the road as it is.
