1987 Ford Mustang GT Convertible SURVIVOR (ALL ORIGINAL) MESSAGING: Please do not compare apples to oranges when messaging me. First, if the "price" you send me refers to a GT, it cost $4,000 more for a convertible at the time. Next, 65% of these cars have ripped up and cheap cloth interiors, this has leather. When you send me a price saying $12,000 and I check to see it has 65,000 miles, we are WAY off. One "Ebayer" sent me a price of $9000 and the car had 139,000 miles on it and was in shreds. This car has under 4000 original miles, full leather interior, is it is the convertible not the hard top, had BOTH MANUALS, new tires, original radio (that still works) and under 4,000 miles. She is being sold locally and on various sites so I reserve the right to terminate this auction at any moment. MILES: This is not a rebuild. This is the original engine with under 4,000 miles on her today. Currently mileage is around 3,870, but probably less. If needed I may get exact mileage shot of odometer later today. ORIGINALITY: Everything is original except the tires and current shocks (the original shocks are included - but faded in efficiency over time). Original shocks do work, but ride like a 80's Cadillac. TOP: Original, mint, no rips or tears, GLASS REAR WINDOW, not plastic. The tourneau cover (and bag) for the cover are also included and both are original, mint shape. ENGINE: Engine and clutch work seamlessly and it still moves to 0-60 mph in a hair over 6 seconds. 225HP/8 Cylinder. OVERALL CONDITION: COLLECTOR/SHOW QUALITY. LEATHER SEATS: I had a few requests to show the BOLSTER WEAR on the driver's side and I can say it is as good as my NEW car from 2014. Quite honestly this interior is as good and as comfortable as the day it was stitched. Supple, soft, no rips or tears and not faded. CURRENT TIRES: 4 Brand New Tires were installed on the original rims 2 months ago, almost no miles on them (100-150 maybe). ANTENNAE: A few questions about the antennae. It is in the brown paper in the trunk, perfect. It was taken off to avoid being damage when going through car washes years ago. It is the original antennae. CONVERTIBLE TOP COVER: It is white and sits in the original black protective case seen in the trunk, great shape. DAMAGE: None ACCIDENTS: None. Questions: 404 444 0867 FEEDBACK: 100%.
