Vehicle Detail

Here's a great 2000 Isuzu Amigo. Ironman Triathlon Limited Edition with very low mileage that has served me very well for 9 years! Since I have 2 vehicles and also work from home, the mileage stays pretty low. I am the second owner and have all paperwork for everything that has been mechanically performed for this vehicle since I've owned it. The oil has been changed every 3000 miles, it has almost new Goodyear Wrangler tires, and is extremely clean inside and out! I have running boards for it, but just never put them on and will include them as well. I also have an extra sun roof and storage bag for same, and a soft top for it. The soft top needs a little TLC since I haven't put the soft top on it in a while, so it's been sitting in my garage. I also have printed instructions on how to put the soft top on and take it back off. I gotta say I love this vehicle and if they still made them in the US, I'd be getting another, they run forever, and are a blast to drive!!! It's a V6 and 4WD with all the bells and whistles for the time it was made, like a 6 disc CD with a really decent sound system. Of course, all this can be upgraded, but honestly, the sound system's sounds pretty good. Also has keyless entry, power windows and mirrors. The a/c and heat work great as well. Since this is the Limited Ed Ironman Triathlon, it has a beefed up suspension and stabilization system. The engine runs like a top and as far as I know everything works perfectly on this vehicle. It just passed NJ inspection (I live near Mt. Laurel, NJ in case you want to take it for a drive) in June and here are the only issues with the vehicle, which are not really issues, but worth mentioning: When the tank gets below one quarter full, the "check engine" light comes on, when you put gas in the vehicle, it readjusts itself and goes off. I've had this checked out and have found that the fuel tank sensor needs to be replaced, but never saw the need to spend the money on it since I know what it is and the light always goes out after I put gas in her. If you want to put a new sensor in, that would take care of the problem....I just never did. I just considered it one of her little "quirks". The other issue is that one of the anti-lock sensors broke on the front driver's side and after a $619 repair (I have all copies of repairs done on this vehicle and well as the large mechanical workbook for it) because the routers and calipers had to be redone because when the sensor broke it chewed into the wheel and since it had to be repaired on one side, had to be fixed on the other as well. So that being said, it now has regular brakes which work perfectly fine, just doesn't have anti-lock brakes. This is also an easy solution, if you want to spend the money to do it....they sell the parts for it on ebay actually and the shop where I've always had all my repairs done told me they'd be happy to put the sensor assembly on, if I provide the parts. I have all the info if you would want to do that, or if you are mechanically inclined yourself, it is something you could do yourself after you get the parts. But the vehicle drives just fine, stops just fine so after spending $619, I didn't really feel like spending more. Also, as shown in one of the photos, the black detailing tape has started to come off on the driver's side of the Amigo. I'm sure it can be repaired as well. Other than these issues, the truck runs great and has lots of life left in her! The interior is in great condition, no tears on the seats or anything. Guess the front mats could use a shampoo, but otherwise the interior is in great shape. I take good cars of my vehicles! The exterior is also in great condition, but I didn't wax it this spring, so a waxing would just make it look better. No real rust issues, just a tiny bit under the bottom rim near the back of the side panel. You cannot really see it unless you bend down and look underneath. Otherwise, no rust problems, no dents and no scratches to speak of. All in all, this Amigo is in amazing shape with super low mileage. PLEASE BE AWARE I HAVE THIS VEHICLE LISTING LOCALLY AND ON OTHER SITES, so if you'd like to come over and take her for a ride, please let me know. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time because it is listed other places, so if you are interested PLEASE GET IN TOUCH. I have a feeling she will sell quickly. If I forgot to mention anything, please ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE, as I may have forgotten something. Of course, this Amigo is SOLD AS IS, but honestly, to my knowledge, there are no other issues other than what I've mentioned, and it has always been very well maintained. You get many years of fun with her, just like I did!
