I have a 2003.5 Mazda Protege it is the turbocharged mazdaspeed version. The car has 91k miles on it and needs a new transmission. I have owned the car since 2010 and have not modified the car at all and I believe the car was stock when i bought it. It has the Racing Beat suspension that came stock on the mazdaspeed version. These cars are a lot of fun to drive. I was quoted $1500.00 for a new transmission by a local mechanic, but I'm sure you could find cheaper options. The car exterior and interior are well above average for a 2003 model. The car has a salvage title and I have the title in had. Car was running great prior the the transmission problem.
