Bid to win!) 1966 Ford Mustang Luxury Coupe. Original! This Mustang was produced June 3, 1966 at the San Jose, California plant. A west coast car its entire life, it lived for many years in dry southern Oregon and about 10 years ago it passed through the family and moved to the Portland area. It is a wonderful example of a beautifully maintained, ORIGINAL Mustang. Nicely optioned with 289 4v V8 engine, C4 automatic transmission, 3.00:1 rear-end, Wimbeldon White paint, Black vinyl top, Combination Red Crinkle and Red Rosette vinyl interior, AM radio and factory Air Conditioning. All components are present today as they left the factory. Always garaged, all parts of this original Mustang are in excellent condition. Paint is shiny with no bubbles and only a few small areas of wear after 48 years (see photos.) Chrome is bright. Interior is excellent with only two small splits on the bottom of the driver's seat. Dashboard has no cracks. Interior, headliner and carpets are bright. The original black vinyl top is exceptional. Smooth with no tears, bubbles, lifting or shrinkage. Truly looks like new. Car has NO RUST. Please see photos of trunk and undercarriage. Mechanically, this car is excellent. Always maintained and pampered. Minor engine work as needed through the years. Runs strong with no smoke or noises. Tight with plenty of power. Automatic transmission shifts perfectly. Recent new gas tank and air conditioning compressor. A/C blows ice-cold. Radio and heater work, as do all gauges. Newer original-type steel wheels and tires. Ready for the road. Needs nothing. Drive anywhere. There is little to add.
