For sale: 2003 Volkswagen Beetle - Price lowered to sell. All Reasonable Offers Considered!! Car is in Good Shape. Transmission is great. AC runs cold. Passed NH inspection in 2012. Titled in FL in Nov 2013. Serious bidders welcome to come inspect vehicle with appointment. Known Issues: 1) Alarm will go off occasionally without cause - sometimes when starting the car after disengaging the alarm. 2) Check engine light is on but needs no attention. Bought the car in New Hampshire. Check engine light came on during drive to Florida. Had it checked twice and light turned off only to appear again. Both times the mechanic found nothing. Have heard this is a common issue. 3) Couple of rust spots near doors - see pictures 4) Previous owner was a smoker and the car has a few burns marks - Car does not smell bad - we are not smokers and the car has been smoke free since we bought it. 5) Front tires not as good as back tires - see pictures 6) One area where headliner has separated from sunglasses holder - see pictures 7) One rear brake light is out 8) Drivers side door panel needs to be tightened up a bit - it doesn't come off or anything like that but it could use a tightening This has been a good car for us.
