Vehicle Detail

Note the listing doesnt offer a bill of sale as an option so I had to select "clear title" to proceed. This car is CT car and we dont have titles for cars this old. The car is being sold with an official CT bill of sale form # H-31 only- no title or any other old paperwork. Check with your oversee's shippers and local registries before bidding. Now the good part- this is a real 1969 Boss 302 car and not a clone. Yes they are very very rare and only a fraction were made compared to the 1970 Boss cars. They made just over 1600 of these cars so Ford could get into the trans-am series racing. Of the 1600 there were 375 of these made in acapulco blue- who knows how many survived. In 1966 they made over 2000 shelbys and the shelby production numbers crept up over the years making this Boss rarer than most shelbys! I have no solid proof but was told this car did some Trans-am racing in the early 70's and spent time at Limerock. Note the early/original thin rear springs in the parts pictures- these are original racer parts to allow for wider rear tires. The 302 4 bolt block in the car does have some sleave damage and will need to be repaired. All I have is the bare block with caps as shown. The block is a C8 block and has the marking in the pictures. Many of these engines were replaced back in the days and not every block got a serial number on it. I tried seeing if a block with my serial number existed but found no proof. The car still has a toploader in it and the tag is in the photos. there is no shifter but the shifter in 1969 was a standard mustang shifter not a hurst one like in 1970 so its easy to find. That style bucket seat is correct in the car as is the non-tach dash cluster. In fact, many parts on this year Boss were standard mustang parts so its not impossible to find the missing Boss parts. There isnt a rev limiter or other Boss drivetrain parts- what you see is what you get. Many people would probably just run out and drop in a new Boss crate motor. The 9inch is also in the car, the staggered shock plates attaching it to the leaf springs are there as is the factory bracing in the trunk to accomodate the staggered shocks. The car has been sitting in my barn for years and hasn't even been cleaned off so you get to see it in the pictures as is. The car was sold out of NY and I was told by its last long term owner that its been in CT all its life. The car will need rust repair in all the usual places frame rails quarters etc- a full resto. Some parts could be saved with work it all depends on your skill and desire for original metal. Since we all look at that differently I would assume the worst and you may be pleasently surprised- you can also come look at the car in person. The pass quarter is an old replacement the drivers is an original. The old tires leaked from sitting so it has new 15inch tires on it and it rolls freely but no brakes. The doors on it are repairable. I also have the original door with the door tag, has the original factory windshield tag on car, factory fender apron stampings and I have the build sheet. Please be sure to have the funds to pay for the car and shipping before bidding. $200 deposit due within 48hrs of auction close and full payment due within 7 days of auction close no exceptions- i will just report it to ebay and relist it. Car needs to be picked up within 4 week of auction close. The next owner is going to get one rare car...
