1986 Land Rover Defender 110 “Troop Carrier” Colorado Issued VIN - IDCO001988ZZ Clear Colorado Title - located in Denver – IN HAND Legally imported from South Africa - all import fees paid, all import documents in hand Stats: Year: 1986 Make: Land Rover Defender 110, 3 Door Troop Carrier (seats 9 - 10 people) Miles: 111,813 miles / 179,975 km (+ what I am adding, this number is approximate) Motor: V8 Land Rover Engine (Original) Transmission: 4 Speed Manual Drive: Right Hand (RHD) Drive Train: All wheel drive with High/Low and Diff Lock Fuel: Gas / Petrol Exterior Color: Yellow/Ivory Roof Interior Color: Black Rims: 16” This truck runs and sounds great – the motor is a Rover V8 with a 4 speed manual gearbox. It will cruise at 75mph on the freeway no problem (tested at Mile High – 5,280 ft above sea level). The truck was purchased for a restore project and the gentlemen never finished. He replaced the headliner and possibly the back seats (almost new condition). Minor wear and tare for a 28-year-old truck. Chassis is strong and straight. You can drive this truck immediately – headlights, turn signals and gauges all work. If you are looking for a durable well built truck that does what its asked, look no further. I’m not asking a lot! I was born in 1986 by LEYLAND Land Rover in South Africa for my new mates – the South African Police Force. Arriving by train and ready for the street (you can still see some of my original light blue paint, even where my siren light use to be!) I was ready to transport police staff all over South Africa and Namibia. I’m a little rough around the edges and need some love but I'm as tough as they come! My chassis is solid and my V8 Rover engine is extremely strong – 75 mph no problem! I was regularly maintained and kept ready for the chase. I retired from the force in 2008 with my gold watch and was acquired by a retired police officer in Port Elisabeth, Eastern Cape. My owner started to restore me but couldn’t finish. I’ve decided to remain affordable (my choice) so someone can complete the job! I’m also a perfect candidate for a new spray or simply keep me rough so the kids can jump all over me. Either way, make sure I get dirty! My Story: My name is Matthew from Righteous Trading Company (RTC). I import Land Rover Defenders from the South African outback for enjoyment here state-side.
