I bought this car a couple of years ago to restore. Since then, I've done the following: new rear brakes and turned the drums,stripped gas tank inside and out (acid), and then sealed and installed with new felt strapsinstalled braided fuel linerebuild completely the carbs - car holds idle like it's new!new correct thermostat and cleaned up water inlet, etc.adjusted valvesinstalled vacuum bypass - vacuum comes from manifold now - this car scoots!new distributor and coil The tranny is an overdrive unit, which didn't come with this car - also, the engine is a newer tr4 (hence the 175's carbs). It drives quite well, but will need the tranny replaced. The wheels are *borrani's* with almost new tires. The *borrani's* alone make this car attractive. Care will need paint, but you could drive it once the tranny is replaced (I drove it as is, just nursed it). This car is a great candidate for a really nice end product, or you can drive it as is. You're not going to be disappointed with it!
