1984 Chevrolet Chevette two-door with under 56,000 documented miles. Purchased from the estate of its original owner with 7,215 original miles (have a photocopy of the original title showing this). Collector owned and cared for since by second owner who is the seller. It’s an impeccably maintained, “no excuses,” un-restored car that I would trust to drive anywhere – while getting about 38 highway MPG. Serviced with AC Delco parts. Sole modification is the professional installation of clear shield “invisible bra” over leading edge of hood, front bumper and air dam prevent stone chips (see photo that is a close up of the hood). Because it was an elderly man’s "last car," it’s not a pristine, showroom, trailer-queen collectable. It has an “old guy bumping into stuff” dent, and a couple of (very) minor scratches -- although only the dent shows up in the photos (it's near the fuel filler door). It would be fair to say it looks a lot more like a car of half its mileage given that it has spent most of its life as a collectible. Aside from the clear shield, tires, battery and some routine service items -- filters, plugs, etc. (using a combination of OEM and NOS parts) -- every other piece of equipment on the car is original/stock and in proper working order including the factory Delco AM radio and its single dashboard speaker. The car retains its original spare tire & jack which have only been out of the car for detailing. Inspections are welcome by individuals or mechanics.
