Vehicle Detail
Rare 1977 Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee T140V. Starts up first kick from cold and runs but needs a tuneup to be road worthy since it has been in storage for a few years. I removed the ignition cover and gasket to check the points gap and timing but the cover didnt make it back on for the pictures. The ignition cover is not lost and has been re installed. This bike was turned into a show bike back when it was new in 1977 by a Harley dealer in OH. Many parts were chromed on the bike including the Amal carbs and even the swing arm as shown in the pics. The rear wheel is a 16" from a Harley sportster. A few other changes include a tombstone taillight and some custom hand painted pin striping, billet shift lever and kick lever, bullet style engine bolts and gas cap cover. Seat looks new. Tires are old and will need replaced. New battery and oil change. Brakes don't feel like they have enough bite but the do work. Paint and chrome are both in pretty good shape still show well from just a few feet away. chrome has some pitting and the original paint has a few blemishes here and there. No dents in the tank or fendersl. The front wheel blue painted center is flaking off. Scuff marks on left airbox cover from kick lever. This a no reserve auction! This rare bike will go to the winning bidder! This bike is being relisted because the winning bidder triumph3d2 couldn't pay for the bike after sneaking his winning bid in at the last 15 seconds and wasting everyone's time. Please do not bid unless you have the money and intention to complete the transaction.
