This is a no reserve auction: 1965 AMC Rambler Marlin fastback with a 232 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission and power brakes. 77,043 miles on the clock (believed to be original). This car is fresh from Colorado. It runs and drives around town pretty well. It stops, shifts, and steers well. It looks to have been restored at some point then sat for years after that. I would tow it any long distances before it is checked over thoroughly. It needs some bodywork, paint, and interior work but overall it is pretty solid. Most of the accessories work well. There is very little rust throughout the car. The frame, floor, windshield cowl, and engine bay are all very solid. The door gaps and body lines are good. The doors shut easily. All of the glass is in great shape without any cracks. The engine fires right up and idles smoothly. Doesn't leak a drop of oil. The transmission shifts great. The brakes are very good and it stops easily. Clean Colorado title. This would make an easy restoration project or just drive it as is. There is a dent in the right front fender, there is a little rust on the lower right rear quarter (pictured), the paint is peeling, and the carburetor could probably use a tune up (hesitates sometimes at low speeds). The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction end. The remainder is to be paid in cash or certified bank check only, no exceptions. This is due to the high Pay-Pal fees on vehicle sales. The vehicle must be picked up within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. If the vehicle is left here longer than the 7 days without other arraignments made, it will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee. The mileage may vary slightly due to the vehicle being test driven throughout the auction. We do not charge any documentation fees, so there are no added costs after the auction. We reserve the right to end an auction at anytime due to the vehicle being for sale locally. We will entertain reasonable offers to end the auction early.
