This 65 El Camino has a fresh 5.7 out of an 87 Pontiac Trans Am. The motor pulls strong. Motor sound quiet and tight. It has a new Holley 650 on a Summit Racing aluminum torque manifold. Transmission shift perfectly. 12 Bolt rear w/traction bars. Exhaust sounds nice. The body is pretty straight, no dents. I haven't found any rust. Floors are solid. The inside of the bed has a few dings but really pretty nice for its age. Easily made cherry. No sway back floors or that sort. Tail gate and latch work slick. I would replace the steering box with power if I were keeping it. All the pieces missing all appear to be available aftermarket. The wheels are not gouged up. They were painted flat black at one time and they need to be redone. I believe they're IROC wheels. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Tires are good and used but drivable. The seats are comfortable but need recovering. The truck is presentable and starts every time. The perfect truck to drive and build. I acquired this El Camino when a friend of mine closed down his towing company. The car comes with completed lien documents. My friend owned this truck for several years.
