As seen in the pictures down below this nice looking 2005 Mazda RX8 6-Speed manual with only 72k miles has mainly sustained a very light left side damage. Front end is only missing the bumper cover. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. Looks like it took a light bump to the left driver door and rocker has fixable dent underneath. No undercarriage damage. Front end has no major damage, only the bumper cover is missing. Left headlight/fender might need slight adjustment. Front frame rails are straight and looks like the bumper did not absorb any real damage. Just install a new bumper assembly and with minor adjustments front end should be back to normal. No damage to the front end cooling components (radiator, condensor, fanst, etc) are all in tact. The AC blows cold air. No leaks observed from the front end cooling components. Only the left roof (curtain) and driver seat airbags are deployed. Get used airbags and other needed parts easily here on ebay or at online junk yard website car-part.com. Each airbag should not cost more than $150 or so. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot.Left rear wheel is out of alighment due to a bent tie rod. Its a very easily fixable part (a thin rod ) easily available here on ebay for a few bucks. The left wheel probably hit a curb during the accident and bent the rod, its very common on such side damages but not a major suspension work. No major mechanical damage observed on this vehicle. The rest of the exterior is in good condition with great looking paint but some light scuff marks/scratches and the obvious bump to the rear bumper cover. (see pics below). Right rear taillhgt mouinting tabs are broken. Interior is clean and is as seen in the photos below. Has upgraded Clarion aftermarket touchscreen cd/dvd/sirius, radio, cd, etc. Comes with the extra large sport 18" sport alloys. Overall, it should be a fairly easy fixer with light body work maily to the left rocker under the driver door and minimal parts needed. Only 72k miles! A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES

We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
