Vehicle Detail
1987 Buick Grand National (Turbo T - WE4) with 71k original miles. There has been a lot of money spent on this car. I have a 4 inch binder with almost every record and receipt for this car. I even have the original documentation from 1987. Everything works on this car including A/C and cruise control. The drivetrain has all the typical upgrades recommended for these cars:Forged crankshaft, forged/ceramic-coated pistons, ported heads with bigger valves and springs. 1.65 roller shaft mounted rocker arms, roller camshaft, bigger intercooler and turbocharger. Upgraded intake, etc. (the list of drivetrain modifications is a very long list). Cold air intake, upgraded transmission with 3200 stall converter (with lockup). Upgraded/ceramic coated headers and down pipe. Custom dual exhaust with ultra-flow mufflers. All new A/C lines and compressor. The engine has about 2500 miles since being rebuilt with forged internals. Paint is in excellent condition, looks like new paint but is actually a 20 year-old paint job. Interior is super clean (non-smoker and well cared for). This car has been garaged kept its entire life and is an original Texas car. On Aug-29-14 at 09:48:29 PDT, seller added the following information: The condition of the paint is excellent, but being 20 years old, there are a couple of rock chips, I will try to see if they will show up in a picture and send it to you. I have a 4 inch binder with all receipts on this car for the past 20 years, which also includes the original paper work and owners manual when the car was bought new. The bumper fillers have been replaced. There is no rust on this car and no cracks in the paint. Here is a photo album of more pics including the under-carriage. Additional photos (add h t t p s, and ": / /") to the following photo album URL:plus.google.com/photos/108696992021482310490/albums/6046156752909851393 The car has a turbo tweaked chip for the current combination. I don't know what horsepower it makes, but the previous owner has a mustang dyno chart of one run which was cut short at 4k rpm due to lean condition. On that dyno (conservative) the car put down 330 rwhp at 4k rpm and 15psi boost. I took it to the track once and ran 12.8 at 109 mph with a 2.1 second 60 foot time with 15psi boost. The current turbo is a precision turbo 58/57mm with 42 pound injectors. The idle is nice with a slight lope due to the camshaft (hyd. roller 210/210 with 110 LSA and .500/.500 lift). The car does have a scan master and boost gauge on the A pillar, oil pressure and water temp on the console, and a tach above the console (and an EGT gauge in the ash tray). There is an boost controller in the glove box.
