Title to this vehicle was acquired in 2013 (under Virginia's Abandoned Vehicle Statue) after the owner failed to pick it up after three (3) years. The car originally ran fine because it was moved around periodically. When it became apparent that the owner wasn't coming for it, the vehicle sat for over two years. It started up two or three times after that and finally stopped. In May 2013, the vehicle was taken to my mechanic (who is not a Mercedes mechanic) and he worked on it extensively over many months and got it running. As stated previously, the transmission shifts smoothly, but the vehicle has a rough idle. There is No Body damage to the car, there no leaks, no dents, no valve taps, and it has good oil pressure. It has the original green paint, but could use a good polishing. The car was only started up to move it around. It was never taken on the road by current owner. And, there was never an attempt to mobilize the soft top, so the condition of it is unknown. Other than that, it's a nice classic antique car. Please Note: NOT THE ORIGINAL OWNER.
