This 1956 Chevy is a reliable daily driver. It is built for street racing and will make a good showing at the track. I have run 14 second 1/4 mile times in it, in full street trim and weight with the small radial tires. I know it would run in the 13's or better with a good tune-up and slicks. It has a bored .30 over small block 350 with pop up pistons and a 3/4 cam, headers, 4 barrel Edelbrock, aluminum Edelbrock intake, and MSD distributor and ignition. It has a 4 speed Muncie transmission and a 12 bolt positrack rearend with 4.10 gears. It has short glass packs and a mean lope, so it sounds mean and runs great. I installed a Mp-3 compatible CD stereo system that sounds great inside. The bucket seats are from a BMW and have 4 separate adjustments for maximum comfort. The chrome trim on the outside is all new. There is no rust in the floorboards, trunk floor, rocker panels, or fenders. It is really rust free, structurally sound. It has never been wrecked, at least not that I can tell, and I painted the car myself, so I have been over every inch of it. I love the car and it really gets lots of compliments and head-turning, but I need money because I am moving my family to another state. The compression is not too radical, so it runs just fine on pump gas, no knocking or pinging, and it doesn't smoke, even when you really get on it. When you buy this car, you will be getting a great, solid, dependable car that will last a long, long time with little or no maintenance.
