You are bidding on a 1989 ford mustang GT. Here's the deal, I traded my truck for this back in June thinking I would be able to make it a decent race car, but have way to many projects and already have one. So it's up for sale. I don't know the full history on it but does run and drive. Let's start with motor and trans. It has a carbed 351w with a t5 behind it. The carb needs a gone over and needs tune up. Seems to run decent just when you get on it feels sluggish. The motor has edelbrock intake, Holley carb, edelbrock valve covers. New PA TORQ mini starter. Looks like driver side valve cover gasket is leaking. Has hooker shorty headers with catless h-pipe and custom side exhaust. The guy installed solid motor mounts and has a bad vibration when driving from them. I have a set of poly mount included with sale. Has aluminum radiator along with metal fan (rec. going with electric). All emission items have been removed. Has a/c delete pulley with shorter belt to bypass smog pump and power steering. Power steering pump has been removed and rack is looped. The a/c and power steering bracket has broken bolts by previous owner and misaligns ac so belt is starting to shread.Transmission and clutch feel good, but does grind going into 4th. Has 4.10 gears in the rear. Skinny draglites in the front with like new tires and bigger draglites in rear (unsure of size), but needs tires because they are bald. Exterior is white and wasn't painted by a professional. Looks good from 10-20ft away close up has runs and chip marks. Door molding fell off at one time so there is left over double sided tape on doors. (Have moldings included). Has cowl hood, cobra grille insert, saleen wing. Has brand new headlights in it. Rear springs have airbags in them. Interior is in fair shape. Carpet and tweed seats are good minus some stains. Has auto meter tach and sun pro coolant temp, but temp gauge isn't working. Radio has been deleted along with outside antenna. Ashtray door actually works! The interior has overspray from when it was painted and will need good. scrub. Dash is also signed by jack roush! There is some rust in strut towers, but is still solid. No other rust on car. Again this car is a project. I have only taken down the street and back. Will need a complete gone over before driven far. Rec. towing when picking up. Vehicle does have R-title. you want to check out car before bidding please email.
