For sale in this listing are two 1984 Honda VF 500 F / vf500f Interceptor (s). Yes, that's right, two complete Honda Interceptors. Both motorcycles manufactured in 1984. One of the bikes has been sitting for a little over a year, it does turn over and it does run. I did not run it for very long, just long enough to know the carb wasn't all gummed up. The other bike, I have never tried to start, as it has no oil in the case, all of its there, but I have not had the time to fill it up and do whatever else that it may need in order to get it fired up. No battery in either bike. Because these bikes are so simple to work on, I was going to take them both completely apart and create one really great bike. Unfortunately, my plans changed and now we are preparing to move, I will not have the time to ride for awhile, so these two motorcycles will be sold to the highest bidder. The bottom line, is that you are bidding on two complete bikes that were made in 1984 as such they both need TLC. All the parts are there to make one great Honda (then you could sell all the extra parts). I also have some other extra parts not pictured that I had picked up for this project (extra fairing and side panels), which I will include with the bike. Both complete motors alone on these bikes are worth what my starting price is on this auction. Please look closely at the pictures to get an idea about the condition of each bike. Neither of these bike can just be ridden home, they both need to be gone over mechanically before any significant riding is to occur as they have been sitting.
