1955 GMC frame off restoration 20+ years ago - I have owned for almost 30 years some scratches and light dings. Acid dunked most body parts (exception of 1 fender that was replaced) painted with variprime etching primer and painted basecoat/clearcoatOak and stainless steel bed - stainless tailgate chainsBorla Stainless steel mufflersElectric wipers(original- blades need replacing- just noticed)drop bumper heavy duty hitchfront disc brakespower steeringleather power bucket seatsStewart Warner gauges in original bezels - bought new years ago. machined original bezels to accept and look very good- see pictures427 engine with: 7/16 dimple rods- shot peened, forged crankshaft, open chamber oval port heads, balanced, forged pistons, windage tray, 7 quart trap door corvette oil pan, Holley 750 carb, dual snorkel air cleaner, Crane gold roller rockers, 4 bolt mains etc. Have receipts for machine work and large majority of parts.Currently torque thrust wheels on front and dragmasters on rear (torque thrust style).New Venture 5 speed with Centerforce Clutch - have custom pistol grip shift handle made for truck(years ago - used on two previous set-ups- will include - not installed on current new 5 speed set-up yet.Chrome step-sides Chrome cowl ventHeavy duty receiver hitch and drop bumper - plasma cut to match bed - used to tow pop up camper for many years4 core radiator - modified original radiator sent in to Griffin - provisions for automatic transmission if you what to change over - Had turbo 400 and current drive-shaft worked for both Heavy duty sway bars front and rearFront tires need balancing - will try to have done prior to end of auction if bidding reaches reserve. Otherwise will leave in storage until next year.Spare - crank/cable to tuck up under bed. newer truck style was bought new at time of restoration - still like newFinned aluminum rear end cover12 bolt rear end currently gov-loc with 3.08 gears. it has little slop in the gov-loc differential. I am currently setting up eaton style limited slip with 3.73 gears will included these parts in auction if desired. I also have a spare wheel with a cooper tire - torque thrust style, and two standard chervolet steel wheels and tiresOriginally Nebraska truck - was very solid condition prior to restoration - bumper has not been re-chromedtruck was undercoated - (GM dealership) Consider driver(nice) not show truck but did win best in show truck/van early model Brained International Raceway in 2005 and few local cars shows entered.Drive and runs good.
