1993 CADILLAC ALLANTÉ CONVERTIBLE - ONLY 93K MILES!! 295 HP 4.6L Northstar V8 Automatic Transmission Convertible Very Low Miles Power Windows & Locks Cold A/C Zero Accident History No Reserve Auction! 85+ Pictures & Full YouTube Video Walk Around -- Please allow time to load! Vehicle Description: This is a 7-Day NO RESERVE auction for a 1993 Cadillac Allanté Convertible! HIGH BIDDER WINS! Powerful V8, Nearly New Tires, Zero Accident History, Only 93k Miles! Check out the pictures & video! Check out this rare 1993 Cadillac Allanté Convertible! These cars were produced jointly by Italian design house Pininfarina and Cadillac/General Motors. The body of these cars were designed and manufactured in Italy and then flown on specially designed Boeing 747 jet planes to Cadillac's manufacturing facility in Detroit and mated with a GM-produced chassis and drivetrain. The result is a unique, collectible vehicle with relatively low production numbers. This particular Allanté is a 1993, the last model year of production and only year to feature the Cadillac Northstar engine with produces 95 more HP than the older engines used in previous model years. Overall this Cadillac Allanté is a nice driving example of a soon-to-be collectible car. With only 93K miles on it, there is plenty of life left in this classic Cadillac convertible. This car features tons of options like automatic climate control, power-leather seats, CD changer, chrome wheels, power assisted top, and so much more! All of the power options appear to be working correctly, including all of the power-assisted top features including the pull downs and power assisted trunk pull down. The only power option I've noticed that is not working is the recline for the driver's seat but it is in a comfortable position for me and is still adjustable slightly by raising and lowering the back part of the seat (I am on the taller side, so it is reclined. For what its worth, it was working when I got the car but after driving it a while it has stopped so it may start working again). The engine is strong and has plenty of power except for a slight hesitation at idle. The engine does not overheat, I have driven it in stop-and-go traffic and the highway absolutely no overheating. The automatic transmission shifts smooth with no issues at all. Zero accident history per autocheck! Mechanically, this Allanté is in good condition. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Allanté has been sitting. The brakes stop the van smooth and straight. While driving the steering & suspension components appears to be in average shape for a 93K mile vehicle - not brand new-tight but no abnormal rattles or suspension noise. No suspension warning lights as is common on Cadillacs. Drives down the freeway at 80+ MPH with no issues. The 4 matching 225/60/16 Michelin Symmetry tires are nearly new and have plenty of tread remaining. The vehicle drives straight down the road. Overall, this vehicle drives very nicely for its age. The climate control works and this Allanté blows air on all blower levels and wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc - front and rear), and the AC is still blowing Cold! The middle vent may be missing the knob that shoots it left/right, I couldn't figure that one out (this is my first Allanté). The Cadillac is equipped with AM/FM/CD/CASSETTE - the radio powers up and the speakers sound good. It sounds like two of the front speakers occasionally cut out while driving as it gets quieter then louder and the power antenna only goes about half-way up but the radio reception still seems strong. There is an aftermarket Sony CD changer that I cannot figure out how to get it to play, but it powers up just fine and probably works somehow because there were CDs in it when I got the vehicle. The factory CD and Cassette do not appear to be operational. The service engine soon light has popped on from time to time shortly after starting the car, but goes away shortly thereafter and I have not read the code. There are no other warning lights. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. Overall this is a decent running and driving Allanté! Cosmetically -- this car looks in good shape. I would say this car is a 15-footer, it looks great from 15 feet away but up close you can see there are some imperfections that are consistent with it's age. The paint is in good shape and has a nice shine except for the front bumper has lost most of the clearcoat and the trunk/deck lid is starting to show clear-coat fade in spots. There is a very little bit of rust bubbling on the passenger side rear wheel well and a tiny tiny bit of rust at the bottom right front fender. With close inspection you can tell the top half of the driver's door has been previously painting and there is some bubbling but the paint match is close and a little bit of over spray right above the bumper on the passenger side near the fender. All glass is in-tact and in good condition. The top is in good condition and has probably been replaced at some point. The top "mini covers" and included although show some cracking and signs of use. There are some cracks in the weather seals of the top but I haven't noticed any leaking just a little wind noise on the highway. The interior is in decent shape with some normal cracking on the leather seats. The driver seat bolster is separating along the seam and there is a small hole in the passenger seat (see pics) but overall the interior is in pretty nice shape for a 20+ year old car! Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. The lower valence is cracked, the taillights have lots of tiny thin crack, and some of the emblems are missing/partially missing (the "ac" in Cadillac on the rear, the rh Pininfarina emblem, and the 32V portion of the right front Northstar emblem). These are minor imperfections that are consistent with the vehicle age. Although not a show-quality car, this Cadillac shows nice and will be a vehicle that you can be proud of! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay.
