1956 Triumph TR3 Smallmouth for restoration. Solid car with very good bones. This car will need complete restoration, but is one of the most desirable of the Triumph models and is a great candidate for it. Some work has already been done. It is an original California car. and still has a deteriorated black plate affixed to the bumper. I believe it can be traced through this number, BUT THERE IS NO Ca. PAPERWORK WITH CAR. P/O had frame redone, along with some front end and brake work, as pictures will bear out. Car was then tentatively bolted together, put in primer as a prevention, and shipped to East coast where it has sat for a couple of years without further work being done. It is mostly complete. There are some parts missing, such as lights, wiring harness, etc. Things that most people would replace when restoring. There are some extra parts, such as wire wheels and hubs. Motor still turns. It has seats that need rebuilding, top frame, bumpers, windshield frame, etc. There is a dent in rear as shown in pictures, made while shipping car. (pushed?) There is no rot, and except for some pinholes in the bottom of one front fender, and some surface rust , is believed to be a rust free car. Car is sold with a bill of sale, as Maine is a non-title state for cars of this vintage. For overseas bidders, or bidders living in states that need more paperwork, it may be possible to obtain a Maine Reg. Please ask all ??? before bidding. All shipping arrangements and costs thereof are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Someone will be on hand to assist with loading.
