1927 Dodge Brothers Sedan. I am listing this rare 27' for my brother. We own a swimming pool store in Middletown, OH 45044. He took this vehicle in on trade for an inground swimming pool. We were told that this was one of the last, if not the last vehicle that the Dodge Brothers built, but we have no idea. I have personally cruised this old car several times with my wife and daughter on nice evenings and it is A LOT of fun to drive. This classic vehicle was appraised by Haggertys for $53,000. I will describe in detail everything that I know about this car, but YOU might know more about this vehicle by looking at the pics than we do..so please look at ALL pictures and videos. I have provided 150+ detailed pictures along with video clips. My brother has the clean and clear title in hand and ready for a new owner. Please read everything and view all of the pics/videos prior to calling. BODY This is an ALL METAL classic 1927. The entire body is RAZOR straight. This 27' was definitely professionally painted. It is a 2-tone pearl white and dark metallic blue. All of the paint has a deep mirror shine. It is an absolute mirror when looking down the sides and top of everything painted on this vehicle. All of the gaps between the panels look even. Both side hoods open and latch shut nicely. All 4 suicide doors open and close with that tight clicking sound that im sure is hard to find on these. All of the glass is original with exception of the rear window which was replaced. All of the glass is crack free, however there is an original bullet hole going through both rear side windows which is pretty cool. These 2 holes were filled in with glass filler, but you can still clearly see them. I have only found 2 very small cracks in the paint that would be hard to even show in pictures because they are so small. Cosmetically, it is an absolutely beautiful and stunning 1927 Dodge Brothers Sedan. I will let the pictures and videos do most of the talking of the body. ENGINE & DRIVETRANE This 27' has a GM V8 350 crate motor with an edelbrock intake and carb. Mated to this powerplant is an automatic TH350 transmission. This vehicle has power steering and power brakes which makes it a pleasure to cruise. It has a Mustang 2 front end. The 6 wheels consist of some kind of special wire rims. We were told that each individual rim was $600 a piece. These wheels/tires give this car a beautiful stance. The engine sounds excellent and holds perfect oil psi. The transmission shifts into every single gear perfect. The brakes stop this car hard and straight. It has dual exhaust and there is no exhaust leaks. All of the V8 sound exits the rear. The suspension is surprisingly very comfortable and is a smooth ride when hitting bumps. The power steering makes the car very easy to drive. You can drive it with 1 finger on the wheel. I am not sure on the steering box ratio, but it is tight. This car runs and drives just as nice as it looks!!! It starts right up, idles and revs flawlessly. It cruises down the road amazingly and is an absolute blast to drive!! The only thing I can nitpick about the drivetrane, is that the belt squeeks when it is first started up and cold...but only squeeks one time and stops. There is no noticable leaks, and this car does not mark its spot when parked. All of the fluids(anifreeze, oil, tranny etc..) look good and clean. The only thing you need to worry about when cruising this car, is the attention that it draws..... INTERIOR The interior is beautiful just like the rest of this vehicle. It has been custom apolstered to match the exterior. Everything looks new or newer. The headliner has "Dodge" written in it as pictured. This 27' has tilt wheel and a nice detachable face CD player. The only original gauge that apears to work is the speedometer, and it seems to be very accurate. There is an oil psi gauge under the left side of the dash and it works. The headlights, tail lights, and brake lights work. All of the gauges light up when you turn the headlights on. The front seats are also on tracks and slide back and forth to make it easier to get in. Both front windows roll up and down smoothly. The rear windows also roll down, but the window roller handles are not yet installed. I have provided A LOT of detailed pictures below.
