The Honda CBR XX 1100 "Blackbird" has to be one of the finest sporting motorcycles ever made. This 2003 was last year for production. This bike has the desired fuel injection, as early bikes were carb. Bike is one owner and I bought bike in July of 2003. Bike has never been crashed or even dropped. Early in ownership rode bike lots but anymore just ride a few hundred miles a year. At 20,000 miles valves were checked (none were out) rear pads changed, Chain & sprockets replaced (Chain is DID O-Ring rivet master link, sprockets OEM steel). Last year battery was replaced (OEM sealed). A few weeks ago it received oil change, antifreeze and new brake/clutch fluid (from new always ran Honda HP4 synthetic). Seat is Corbin with pop on back rest. Seating surface is leather. Stock seat is included. Stock seat is nearly unused as I bought Corbin with bike. Handle bars are changed to higher and closer Heli bars.Tires are Bridgestone Battlax BT57. I would say rear is at 50% tread remaining. Front is at 80% tread remaining with very minor cupping on sides. Bike does about 44mpg highway and I get 38mpg to work. Factory tool kit and owners manual is still with bike and I will include factory service manual. Bike needs nothing and is ready to enjoy! Sorry to see it go but at age 53 I just don't ride much.
