I purchased the car from the original owners estate. With a minor tune up, new battery and carb adjustments it came right back to life. I believe because of owners illness it hadn't been out of the heated garage in 2 yrs. The condition of this car is good and would take very little to make it a great driver quality car. It runs and drives down the road very good. I couldn't believe the Tach worked correctly and the clock runs.... The original paint color was silver and at some time changed to white. The paint job could have been better as they painted over some smaller defects. Car looks great from a small distance but looking closely you will see defects. I can see evidence of an accident in the right front fender under the hood and the core support also small ding in drivers side front fender. The family told me this car was in Southern California and Texas most of its life. The floor boards, frame rails, battery box look great and you can tell the car has been in dry climates. The only small body rust I found is maybe 6" long in front of the right rear tire. I tried to get good picture. I do have original warranty card showing the car was purchased at DOT Datsun in Huntington Beach, CA with the delivery date of 10-13-71 All repair manuals, owners manual, warranty book, Air Conditioner Manual will go with the car. The car does have AC and is still hooked up but does not work. This car would make a great driver or could easily be restored in my opinion. The car has flaws, glove box door hinge is broke, ash tray door missing, small crack in center of dash, ugly cb antenna, small tear in drivers side door panel...just a few things I observed. The car is available for inspection with an appointment. I want you to feel comfortable with buying it. I bought this car because I love Datsuns and know when I see a Diamond in the rough. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. I've tried my best to describe this car and I'm sure I'm leaving good things out like original spare tire, wheel chocks, jack and handle, lug wrench and spare parts.... Again I will repeat, ask questions or come and inspect yourself. I want to sell this car. Car needs paid for and picked up within 7 Days. $500 deposit at end of auction, balance in Cash works best.
