1962 Galaxie XL 500 for sale. This car has factory A/C bucket seats and console. Very solid car with a few body issues but overall very clean, most of the body trim is with the car it need a driver side outside headlight trim ring /hood lip trim and driver side front wheel lip molding also it needs the rear window covers. I have located and purchase quite a few NOS trim parts for the car already. The gas tank needs to be drained and cleaned smells like old gas; the engine will run off of a gas can. I have removed the Trans because it needs to be rebuilt so the car will not drive at this time. Included with the car is a Mercury 410 FE and C-6 Trans I was going to swap (If you are not familiar with a 410 FE it is a 390 with a 428 crank and different pistons a factory stroker 330 HP 10.5-1 compression) them for the original drive train but I will let that be up to the new owner. This car is not perfect; it has a few dents and some rust areas behind the trim and at the bottom of the doors where the drain holes plugged. All of the glass is in great shape and the window roll up and down as they should.
