Electric Hybrid ---- 4x4 --- Runs & Drives Great!! Check out the pictures & video! This Escape runs & drives quite well! Two previous owners, zero accident history per autocheck. This Escape was traded in at a new car dealership and we purchased the vehicle from them. We have driven this vehicle for the over last 100 miles and overall it is very nice! The engine/electric motor/transmission are all functioning like they should. The gas engine runs great with no issues, the electric motor provides assistance like it should. The batteries are holding a charge and they give plenty of power upon acceleration. The CVT transmission appears to be functioning just the way it should. I am not a hybrid expert, but I've owned a few of these Escapes and this one functions just like the rest of them. This Escape is loaded with lots of options like power locks/windows/mirrors, cruise control, multiple-way adjustable driver seat, cold air conditioning, and so much more. Mechanically, this Escape is in good condition. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Ford has been sitting. The brakes stop the car smooth and straight and it has brand new front brake pads and rotors. While driving the steering & suspension components appear to be in very good shape with no abnormal noises. The 4 matching Mastercraft 235/70/15 tires have tons of tread remaining and the vehicle drives straight down the road - no pulls or drifting while driving and no noticeable vibrations. There is a bit of wheel noise that sounds like louder tires in the front to me. I had a mechanic look at the front end and he said the wheel bearings all appear to be in good shape the only thing he recommended was that I change the outer tie rod ends (which I did) and that perhaps that caused some wear on the tires to become nosier. Overall, this vehicle drives very nicely for its age and mileage, its hard to believe it has the mileage it does! All the power options work like they should including the power seats, mirrors, windows, etc. The climate control works on this Escape as it should - the blows air on all blower levels and wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc). The AC is blowing cold, although for full disclosure I did recharge the freon when I purchased the vehicle -- it's been a week and hasn't noticeably leaked but there may be a slow leak somewhere in the system. This Escape is equipped with an aftermarket Sony CDX-GT110 AM/FM/CD/AUX player - the radio powers up and works properly with sound coming from all speakers. There are no check engine lights or other "dummy lights" illuminated on the dash. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. The engine runs smooth with no lack of power at all. Overall, this is a nice running and driving vehicle! Cosmetically -- this car looks in quite good shape. The exterior paint is in good condition and has a nice shine. The body has no visible rusting. All glass is in-tact and in good condition, brand new windshield. The interior is in quite nice condition with no rips, major discoloration, or foul odors There is a little pet hair in the cargo area carpet but I haven't noticed any odors at all. This car looks to have been smoke-free - no evidence of burns or odors. Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. It looks like at some point the previous owner on a freshly resealed road because there is a little tar near the wheel wells (see pics). The bug deflector on the hood is cracked and the LF fog light lens is cracked. These are minor imperfections that are consistent with the age and miles of this vehicle. Overall, this Escape shows very nice and will be a vehicle that you can be proud of! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. Please remember that you are buying a used vehicle and that a certain amount of wear/use/flaws are to be expected on any used vehicle -- including this one. We are a licensed used vehicle dealer and must collect sales tax/title/plate fees so please contact me prior to the auction ending if you want to know what fees you will have to pay on top of the purchase price.
