Mercedes (VITT SL) - Extremely extremely rare! only 2 known of in the US and this is one of the two. Its a pampered 2004 VITT SL500. Its a honest car and to be straight forward, here is what to note about the car and being considered in the offered price. 1) The car has a salvaged title due a minor hit to the rear quarter panel in the same year it was purchased new. No damage at all to the frame and everything was fixed to the highest standards and drives like a dream with absolutely no issues. My understanding with some insurance companies is that sometimes they would rather salvage the car rather than paying to fix. either way, with this car, all the body panels were replaced by the VITT. 2) The power top needs a part but can be operated manually or can be fixed cheap (Part around $600 on eBay, labor around $200) I just don't have the time to deal with it with my current schedule. 3) The shell and wheels could use a little touch up here and there and I would do a nice buff/wax job. Other than that, everything else works perfectly, the car is very reliable and the interior is immaculate as shown in pictures. All services where done on time by Mercedes. I have and will include service records. will also include two extra front tires, new set of wiper blades, two original keys and anything else related to the car that I might have. I'm good with keeping those type of things. Only two VITT SLs are known to be found in the US, this one of 2. As a collector supercar, it has only 33K ORIGINAL miles and was stored in a climate controlled garage. $40K+ of additions alone. $8K + WALD Exchange (3 pc) wheels. Its a true exotic super car. It stands out more than a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Priced for a quick sell due to a move and downsizing. The car is being sold by a private owner (myself).
