I am relisting again had an issue with the title thought I had it cleared with ebay and it was wrong anyways I have a clear title issued to me here in California from DMV nearly 2 years back when I purchased the car from a gentleman in Beverly Hills but auto check shows it as being salvaged in Oregon in 2002 I have spoken to auto check and they gave me this information and said that it cannot be removed,I am including the pic of California title in my description photos and ebay wants me to list car as salvage title even though I have a clear California title so that is how I am going to list it.It is a 1985 TVR 280 I with 66580 miles i purchased the car nearly 2 years back and it ran and drove fine I brought it home and I had to leave the country for a couple of months soon after, I finally got back this May tried to start the car battery was bad put a new battery in still would not start, got someone to take a look to see why it would not start and he took the air intake hose and sprayed fuel into it and it started right away ran for a few seconds and turned off, he advised that fuel pump and fuel filter to be replaced fuel tanks emptied and fresh fuel put in along with replacing pretty much all the fuel hoses, that was done fuel was coming to the fuel distributor but not going to engine so I had him install a rebuilt fuel distributor as he felt that was the problem, in the process the air intake hose was damaged and he got a generic hose from napa but the fit was not proper as it is an accordion type hose we could not see any suction indicating an improper seal I got a number from a gentleman on ebay to get a new correct intake hose I have left him a message if he has it I will purchase and include it in the sale anyways as it stands after all this we are at the same place car will not stay running, I have to leave again for an indefinite period of time soon therefore I have decided to sell it as is, interior and top was replaced at a cost of $3500 just before I purchased it and is still in excellent condition it did have some paintwork on the right front fender that was also done before I got it and it is missing the parking light, I did not see any signs of any other damage, the drivers door handle does not open the door from outside but it does open from inside,power windows and other electrics work,A/C does not blow cold air, I have disclosed everything and will be glad to answer any questions you can call me at 818 4373783 please ask any questions before you bid to avoid any delays to me, I have quite a bit more into it than I am asking but I do need to sell it, thanks for looking and happy bidding.
