1991 Ford Mustang Convertible GT. 5.0L V8 Auto. Aproximately 70,xxx original miles. I recently bought this car off of a friend of mine because he needed some quick money. He knows that I had intentions of selling it myself. His wife drove this car the last few summers. They only sold it because she now has a newer SUV and needed money quick. Ive provided a huge detailed description as well as over 100 pictures & videos below.... Hopefully with the hours I have invested in taking pictures and making this auction I have answered all questions, but if not, feel free to call: 513-464-TEN TWENTY. Please read everything and view all of the pics/videos prior to calling or bidding. Buy it now before someone else does. Or of course make a serious offer! BODY All body panels are very straight. This GT was repainted about 4 years ago and still has a nice shine. The hood is a bolt-on fiberglass cowl hood with a custom paint job. The headlamps and parking lamps both have a light tint. The hood, both doors, and trunk open and close good. The convertible top was also replaced a few summers ago and still looks nice. Cosmetic negatives: The hood has some paint chips as clearly pictured below. Both outside door handles are getting worn out and you have to find the "sweetspot" when lifting the handles to get them to open. There is a few very small dings in the body if you look hard enough to find them. There is also some surface rust in the door jambs(as clearly pictured below) where paint has chipped off. All of this is minor but just being picky and honest. ENGINE & DRIVETRANE This 91' GT Vert has its original 5.0L V8 engine. The transmission is an automatic. The engine sounds very healthy. It idles and revs beautifully. The transmission shifts into every gear perfectly without any flaws. This GT sports front disc brakes and rear drum. The brakes stop this car hard and straight. There is no leaks underneath this car and there is no exhaust leaks. All of the sound exits the rear. It has a set of headers and flowmaster exhaust which sound amazing. The engine idles up and down sometimes when cold, but runs excellent. It has a set of 17" Cobra wheels. All 4 tires have decent tread left, but they are dryrotting. They will probably last awhile, but I do recommend getting new tires ASAP. The A/C does not work and I think it might be the compressor but not sure. It might just need recharged? Overall, it is very reliable. Starts, runs, shifts, and drives great. It has plenty of power and is a lot of fun to cruise!! INTERIOR The interior is gray. It is decently clean and well kept for being 22 years old. The original radio/stereo is still intact and works good. The gauge cluster is NOT the original but all of the gauges work good. The original cluster speedo quit working at 60K miles.(I have the original cluster and it goes with the sale) This cluster was put in showing 48k miles and now has 58k miles. So I am estimating the original miles on this GT as 70k original miles. With this said, the title states 60k ACTUAL miles. The speedo in this current cluster is starting to make a "winding" noise when driving it but still works. The electric convertible top works good and goes and up and down smoothly. An extra gray leather top cover/boot goes with sale as pictured. All of the glass is crack free. The drivers window rolls up and down smoothly. The passenger window and both rear quarter windows need help when rolling them up and down..due to the motors wearing out. Also, the center console ash tray door lid is broke off which is common on these fox bodies. Again, I am just trying to nitpick everything I can about this Mustang GT...
