Last chance to purchase my 1986 Mercedes 560SL which I have owned since December 2005. You will be hard pressed to find another 1986 Mercedes 560SL with only 42,000 original miles in mint condition for $19,500. I am the third owner (certified by Car Fax) and originally purchased the car for $23,000.00 plus tax. The car is always garaged never driven in bad weather and is in show condition, it is all original with just over 42,000 non smoker miles. I drive this car about 500 miles per year and it runs excellent. The engine is a 5.6 V8 with automatic transmission. I have added over $3,000.00 in Mercedes Chrome Wheels (with dust shields), Michelin Tires (which now have about 2,500 miles), Wind Screen, Mercedes Chrome Trim and rare Mercedes rear seat option to upgrade the car. I have an additional $5,500.00 plus in receipts from the local Mercedes Dealer over the years to maintain the car in tip top shape. The paint is all original and the car has never been in an accident (check it out on Car Fax). The car shines brilliantly with only a few very minor scratches where if I didn’t point them out you wouldn’t notice. The front and rear top chrome bumper covers have a very minor ding and there is a door ding on the left side rear quarter panel (the size of a dime), there is also a very tiny paint chip on the hard top. The seating is in excellent shape with no rips or tears and only nominal wear for a 28 year old car (I also have the original Mercedes carpeted floor mats). All options work including ice cold air conditioning (converted to 134A), power windows, power mirror, clock (replaced), gauges, outside thermometer (replaced), the original radio was restored by Becker and the power antenna was replaced by Mercedes. All lights work interior, exterior, and curb work, I had the fog lights replaced. All power vacuum locks work as they should including the trunk and gas cap door. The black convertible top is original with no rips or tears and in excellent shape. The convertible and hard tops are manual and at my age take two persons to raise. The hard top is in excellent shape, with no leaks (the rubber seals are starting to dry out an eventually will need to be replaced) and I have a stand for it that goes with the car. I recently had the car tuned up, including spark plugs, wires, all filters, belts, hoses, and antifreeze and as stated it runs great at any speed. All literature, receipts and Mercedes 107 Service Manual CD included. The car is available for inspection by appointment. I have stated the condition of the car to the best of my ability but the vehicle is sold as is with no express or implied warranties or representations having been made by the seller to the buyer.
