1977 Mercedes 300 D sedan 3.0 liter diesel 5 cylinder normally aspirated Automatic Power windows and locks Cruise control Body and interior are in excellent condition Michelin tires are very good Runs and drives very good! Includes the factory service manuals and owners manuals Arizona rust free car! We bought this car to be a daily driver. Figured it would save us a lot of fuel costs. The fuel economy is great but the car just isn't the right one for our family so now it's listed here. The car runs and drives great overall! These cars were never muscle cars but once it does get up to speed it cruises great and smooth. The cruise control and all the windows and door locks work great. All the doors open and close very solidly. All of the gauges work as they should. The axles and boots are in good condition. No accidents that I am aware of however I have never looked up the carfax on it. The air conditioning has been converted to R134a and recently serviced. It blows plenty cold but the volume of air that it puts out is not really enough to keep it cool in the Arizona summer. There is NO RUST on this AZ car! I would be very comfortable jumping in this and taking it on a road trip! Recent work done..... New metal top tank custom fabricated for the radiator. The rest of it was in excellent condition and was serviced and pressure tested by a professional radiator shop. Brand new Duralast Gold battery install 2 weeks ago. Oil and filter changed 4 weeks ago. New fuel filter and thermostat and of course coolant at the same time as well as a few general adjustments just to fine tune everything. The previous owner stated that the starter was new about a year ago. Problems that I am aware of..... It has an older Clarion tape deck that doesn't seem to work. The power antenna does not work but it stays up all the time. There is a small leak from the valve cover gasket. It takes a little while to start when it's cold out. The map pocket on the passengers front door is broken and removed. There is a small dent in the right rear quarter panel right above the wheel as seen in the picture. Very minor though. The light on the dash is indicating that the brake pads are low now as well. I'll be glad to show it to you before the auction ends or answer any questions you may have so please let me know. I have nothing to hide and I prefer to deal open and honestly. If you need pictures of anything in specific just ask. This is being sold AS IS and WHERE IS with NO RESERVE! Meaning that it will sell to the highest bidder that actually completes the deal. It is your responsibility to arrange shipping or to drive it where you need to go. There is a slight possibility that I could drive it nearby to meet you for a small fee. Just depends what your needs are and my availability. $500 PayPal deposit required within 48 hours of auction end. If you are planning on picking it up and paying the full amount in person within 48 hours then the PayPal deposit is not required. Please let me know if that is the case. If the deposit is not made and I haven't heard from you then I will assume that you are a flake and do not wish to man up and finish the deal. At that point it may be relisted or sold to the second highest bidder. Full payment is due within 7 days and pick up is within 14 days.
