Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1972 Datsun 240Z. The car is in good condition, it idles smoothly, runs, drives, and stops. I used it as a daily driver for a year until I purchased a new car in December 2013. Now it's a weekend car and garage kept. All bushings on the front suspension have been replaced along with the transmission mount, several gaskets, brakes hoses, brake booster, etc. (installed a new larger 1973 booster for better braking still have the old 72 core) I replaced the oil pan gasket too but don't think it seated well it can be reinstalled it's good quality rubber coated, too hot here for me to get out there and redo it.I purchased a set of new ball joints but have not installed them because they are not really needed. I drove in the hot Arizona summer (105 -110 degrees) in heavy traffic and the car did not overheat. I've done quite a bit to the car since purchased. The original radio and antennae are still installed both work (I installed a modern speaker in place of the paper one and still have the original) the air conditioning needs to be reinstalled (needs new pressure hoses previous owner cut them). I have the warranty card from the original owner along with all literature which would have come when purchased new. (see pictures) This car originally had a white interior with white vinyl top. The top was removed prior to my purchasing. I changed the interior due to dryness and sun damage. (see before picture) A few interior items are still needed such as a glove box liner, headliner, new carpet, and weather strip kit. The body on the car is in great shape but does have a couple of minor flaws, and the windshield has a crack starting from a rock chip (truck flung a rock on the freeway). The previous owner let the car sit in the desert sun water was able to leak in to the driver side floor so a small rust hole is at the drain plug area. There is a small rust spot on the passenger fender, and the lip of the rear passenger wheel trim. (see pictures) The under carriage is solid there is absolutely no rust or damage in any of the usual structure areas. I didn't paint the car because I wanted to keep it original and honest. (no bondo, no wrecks) The Odometer reads 90,000 miles (it was 89,000 when purchased) Not sure if this is actual but based on the smoothness of the engine and other inspection, I would say it's accurate but would not swear to it because of no sure prior knowledge. (the car did sit on the previous owners property awhile) The following items are included with the car (see pictures for reference): original steel wheels and hub caps, extra door panel, driver and passenger window regulators, new carburetor rebuild kit (both carbs), new fan blade, new rear brake shoes w/spring kit. Original fuel pump, and a host of other new and used items. This is a great fun car and will be even better once fully restored. Thank you for viewing my auction and happy bidding! Relisted do to nonpaying bidder please bid only if you are going to buy. On Jul-06-14 at 19:12:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Also included is a new Hot Start Electronic ignition conversion kit. (new points, condenser, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor, and cap are already installed)
