Up for auction is a beautiful classic 1972 Triumph Bonneville T120V. This is part of a British Motorcycle collection owned by a good friend of mine who has always loved British machines; he was also an excellent mechanic who serviced all of his bikes. This Triumph was the one he drove all the time; personally I have driven next to him on my Bonneville for many years; this bike was owned by him since 1975; its mostly original except for the paint color, original was Gold/Black. This bike has Dunstall mufflers on it also. This is the 5-speed tranny Triumph came out with in 1972; matching numbers. The speedo shows 59k on the bike; however the motor had a new top end done at around 30K; the bike still runs very well; tires are good; you will need a battery and more than likely clean out the carbs to get this Bonnie running, (it won't take much work at all) This is original condition, not restored. In the tank photo the "chrome strip" for lower tank is missing No Title is necessary when bike is sold in the state of Maine. Our Lawyer has given us this information in regards to a title: No way to get a title on the older bikes. Only thing you can give them is a bill of sale and a court stamped proof of your authority as Personal Representative.We will go to the DVM in Maine and acquire a copy of registration , then transfer it to the new owner, so you can register the bike in your State. Buyer arranges all transport requirements and winning bidder is responsible for all shipping costs and Customs fees and taxes in their native country.
