Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 2000 Honda Civic. It has a 4 cylinder 1.6 liter engine, 5 speed manual transmission, CD player, Power Windows, Power Locks, Cruise Control, A/C, Rear Spoiler, less than 125,000 miles. I've owned this car since 2006 and its never let me down. It starts every time, even when the temperature hit -25 (-55 wind chill) this winter. Engine, transmission, clutch all work flawlessly. I bought this car in early 2006. I didn't realize when I bought it (the seller never mentioned it) that the car had a salvage title. I still don't know what happened to it, or what was replaced on it but when i bought it, it had 42,000 miles on it. in the 8 years that i've owned it, the only work i've done on it, other than routine maintenance, is 2 brake jobs, completely had the exhaust system redone in 2012, and a new battery. This car gets up to 40 mpg on the highway and about 34 in the city. I typically average about 36 mpg. which is great with gas prices so high! Just put new tires on the car, less than 300 miles on new tires.I recently bought a new car so I'm getting rid of my Civic. Earlier this spring I did some body work where there was some surface rust. Body is in good shape, a few dents and scratches, but not bad for a 14 year old car. Here's what's wrong with the car:-Rear view mirror fell off years ago. I never put it back on but I still have it. I will send with the car-Since buying my new car, this car has been sitting for over a month now and the brakes are rubbing/grinding. might need new pads and rotors. they were working fine before being parked And now the good thiings:-only 125,000 miles!-very strong engine, getting 36+ MPG-although it has a "salvage" title, i've never had any mechanical problems with it.-brand new tires (less than 300 miles)-new hub caps-clean interior
