This is a all original (Numbers matching), unmolested Bonneville with original miles of 11,399. Her story is that her owner didn't come back from his second tour of Vietnam and has not been registered since 1977. The bike was purchased from the family and the only thing that has been done is the top end and I put different bars for my liking. The only issue is a dent in the gas tank and a small tear in the back fender (I've been told this is common and can be fixed). See pictures. This bike starts on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd kick and shifts and runs perfect. This is a beautiful time capsule and would serve well for someone who loves original or someone who wants a bike that is extremely clean bike. The bike is clear and has not on DMV records due to length of time that it has been unregistered (since 1977). I will provide a bill of sale and stand by all claims. Please remember that you are bidding on a 45 year old motorcycle that has never been restored. There are a couple of things I want to add It is original electricalThe headlight works, turns onThe tail light is not operatingThere are two wires at the front head section that are visible and have broken (I believe this to be the reason why the tail light doesn't work - I just didn't have time to work on it)There are two small areas on both wheels that have a small amount of rust (this is normal for a bike that has sat)There is a very small section of the seat right at the edge tucked under of the piping that is frayedThere are nuts and bolts have a layer of rust on them There are a few small sections on the frame that show rust (however I would describe the frame in extremely good condition) This bike is in excellent condition relative to its age as an unmolested original bike!
