It has a late model 5.0 engine and C4 automatic transmission. This Shelby restomod is a definite head turner and a cool vintage ride! Below are a description with photos. I just want to be clear that this is not being advertised as MCA concourse show car. It is a nice, clean, freshened up driver car. This Mustang is an original T code 6 cylinder car that has been converted to a V8 engine drivetrain and 5 lug suspension. I would rate the new paint and bodywork about 8 out of 10. The motor is a late model 5.0 302 V8 out of a 1991 Ford Mustang with approximately 30,000 miles give or take. It runs good, has plenty of power and does not overheat. The transmission is C4 three speed automatic from a 1965 Mustang. It shifts good through all three gears as well as reverse. Exhaust is dual 2 inch piping with dual factory style turbo mufflers. Exhaust tone is very mild. Braking system is non power drum brakes front and rear and stops nicely. The rear end is an 8" axle out of a 1965 Mustang. Heavy duty front and rear sway bars have been installed. Underside, floor pans and trunk are all rust free. Undercarriage was given rubberized undercoating at same time as exterior paint. The heater is currently disconnected. Gauges function (oil pressure guage does not read correctly) and the interior/exterior lighting all work as well. I have a clean and clear title in my name.
