Here is an original 1937 Pontiac De Luxe Eight Silver Streak 4 Door Convertible Sedan Project. This is a rare find, there are less than a hand full of these straight 8 convertibles around these days. The straight 8 has a 122 inch wheel base as the 6 has 117. This car is great project that has most of the hard work done to it. This car came from out east, car was in a body shop being restored for a high end collector till his health went. Car came up for sale and I bought it as it sits, as it sat in the body shop. The car looks to be well on its way. The car has a new floor that has been installed from the front to the back, all in and looks great. Doors open and close very nicely. The doors have new lower skins inside and outside, they have the rollup stainless moldings and all latches to open and close. Car has new period correct ribbed white wall Good Year tires, very pricey. The car has original banjo steering wheel, car steers nicely. The body on the car is nice from the front cowl to the rear lower body all nice. Hood is nice opens and closes, girlle looks good, headlights need some work they have little holes in them from rust. Dash is there in the car, has gauges, missing glove door. Car has front and rear seat springs they are as they are well worn. Car has the tops bows looks to be pretty complete and in good condition. Body shop had running boards made for the car, very nice craftsmanship on them. There is a pile of parts, from garnish moldings, bumpers center door units, etc. There is no drivetrain, no engine or trans. Car can be built back to original or however you may want to. This is a very rare car to find in any condition. Car has a good clear title. Please look at all 24 pictures and see what you think.
