On offer here is my 2004 1150RT. Extremely low mileage @ only 7930 total. I purchased this bike from an elderly man (like myself @68) in State College PA. and rode it home to Southern MD. He installed all of the equipment in preparation for a cross country trip that never happened.The bike is equipped with a Cee Bailey's windshield, heated grips, two 12volt sockets, tank bag, folding highway pegs and Russell Day long seat for both operator and passenger. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The bike was and is garage kept. It received the 6000 mile service and in addition the plastic fuel lines and connectors inside the tank were replaced. They become brittle after 8-10 years and are prone to failure. They are now good for another 8-10 years. I purchased the bike in July 2013 for a trip that I never took. I also have a Ducati 750GT collector bike and a Harley Limited. My girlfriend prefers the Harley because one tends to operate such a machine in a sedate manner. I have owned 37 motorcycles over 52 years of riding and nine of them were BMW's. I had one of these when they first came out in 04' with the twin spark heads. This eliminated the surging that previous BMW RT's could suffer from, and that BMW never admitted to. I put a ton of miles on that bike with nary a glitch. These bikes are not as simple as the old airheads, but they are way simpler to maintain then the new bikes, and to my mind this series of RT's are the most beautiful touring bikes ever made. I don't care for the looks of the newer RT's. My long trip days on a motorcycle are sadly over. Someone is going to get a very special bike. Thanks for looking
